Holidays

No! Today is not St Patrick's Day and I am not even interested in St Patrick's celebration anyway but this cross will just mark my lack of inspiration and motivation to post anything in this blog lately. It has been quite a discipline over the past two years and I knew that I would eventually give up the task one day. I am not saying I will not post anything ever. I may keep this blog alive for a while posting from time to time but in the meantime I will take a break away from the cyberspace. Hurray!

Rest

Mum, this is one of the chairs you might be enjoying while you're here. I have personally never used them since I could not really find the time but I am sure it is quite nice especially at sunset to just sit there with a glass and relax!

Goodbye Melbourne

Another beautiful week is coming to an end. I am off to Singapore leaving Melbourne's skyline behind me. I have no idea what the future holds (who does?). But I like surprises...

Phi Phi Island

After Phuket we took a seaplane to the more relaxed island of Ko Phi Phi Don. We are staying in a resort on the North of the island but trekked all the way down to Tonsai Bay which really was another world. Very surprised to see these very young bare-chested and party animal. It could have been Ibiza! On the way we had a swim in amazing waters on the deserted beach you can see on the left hand side of today’s picture. Paradise.

Travelling Night

My usual bag is packed, I’m ready to go. I will have travelled a fair bit over the past two months. I counted 26 flights in a little over 6 weeks and I might forget some. Even though I quite enjoy it, I am starting to feel tired lately with all those jetlags… Fortunately, once I am back in Singapore I should not fly for at least… two weeks!

Holidays

Ah! Holidays... One of the sweetest words in the world. I always have some plans for some forthcoming holidays. It is vital. Without any holiday plans there is no point in working and maybe no point in life! That's what keeps me going. The next side / leisure trip is in a month time. I did not feel like staying at home for Christmas so we will take a plane and find ourselves in between Phuket and Phi Phi Islands. In the meantime, I keep my reading and my websurfing busy planning holidays ahead ;-)
